My son said to me the other day…
“Mummy, I haven’t got a girlfriend”. To which I replied that “You’re only five, there’s plenty of time for all that.”
“But Harry in my class has got all the girlfriends” he said.
So I asked, “What does Harry have that you don’t?”
He looked up at me with his big greeny brown eyes and his smooth childlike cheeks and said dolefully
“All the girls” with a sigh.
