How I Get Motivated
I believe in the power of positive thinking, proactive language and having purpose and intention. I think that you create your reality through your thoughts, so if you are in a negative mood, it is more likely that negative things will happen- and the same is true for positivity. The world reflects back at you what you are putting out, so I consciously choose to put out happy, affirmative thoughts.
Recently over the Easter holidays, I decided to share some of the uplifting and inspirational sayings that I use to motivate myself on Twitter. They are either well known sayings or things I’ve read in magazines that have spoken to me. They got a few Re-Tweets and marked as ‘Favourite’ by some people, so these phrases must have stirred something in others too! I wanted to blog about them so you can see if you like any of them yourself. Also so I’d have them all in one place to refer to myself in the future…
Here is what I tweeted over a 10 day period:

I have come across so many good quotes on Twitter and always retweet them so I can find them again if I want to, although it would make more sense to put them together in one place. Here are some of my recent finds
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going. ~Jim Rohn
There are always flowers for those who want to see them. – Henri Matisse.
You have to climb a mountain before you can enjoy the view.
If you are not ready today, you will be even less so tomorrow. – Ovid.
Those are great Kate! I especially like ‘You have to climb a mountain before you can enjoy the view’- very motivational!
Thanks for sharing.
